Through a dramatization of personal accounts, I discuss issues of gender identity and gender dysphoria theatrically and metaphorically. Performing for the camera, I adopt the position of a mythical stand in for an icon whose experience of trying to belong in either of the gender binary camps leaves them unsatisfied and feeling rejected. Scored with an original composition, I embodied the trials of attempting to belong, and failing.
