 “In A State Of Being Left” brings about the convergence of poetics and musical

composition to discuss issues of loneliness, depression, and anxiety with a resolve for self-healing. Utilizing three narrative/musical phases I mirror the feelings and moods evoked by my musical compositions and sonic landscapes with words that solidify the experience in a more

tangible/interpretable way.

The video and performance versions of this piece illustrate the narrative, and the physical affectations of mental illness in the body through interpretive choreography, whilst projected video animations immerse my body in aural depictions of my transitioning mental and physical state.
